Receiving a word from God is a call to a deeper fellowship with God.

The power to execute words of prophecies is granted in the place of dwelling in worship and the communion with God.

The prophetic is one of God's gift to the Church. Revelation 19:10 records, "...Worship Him! The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy".

The Prophetic is one of the ministries of the Holy Spirit. The prophetic is the revelation of Jesus Christ given by the Lord and sent to God's people by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Revelation 1:1) Prophecy edifies the church.

The church of God is edified by the word of God through the spirit of prophecy (1 Corinthians 14:4) The prophetic was established by the Lord.

The Lord spoke through the mouths of prophets in the old testament, and in the new testament.

The coming of the Messiah was prophesied in the old testament by the prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 9:6) and many others. In the new testament, Mary received prophecy concerning the birth of the Son of God (Luke 1:35) The spirit of prophecy is not for profiteering (Acts 8:20-24). Freely you have received, freely give (Mathew 10:8)

Prophetic words should be recorded (Habakkuk 2:2) The prophetic ministry requires a life of holiness.

Every prophecy must lead back to the Lord, not to humans or angels (Revelation 19:10 ). Prophecy is an invitation to come closer into God's presence, by taking the words He has spoken to you back to Him Believers should not open up their lives to false spirits when in search of prophecy (Jeremiah 23:13).
